How To Treat Jock Itch Naturally. Don’t Rely On Creams

Today, I’d like to talk a little bit about
jock itch. I’ve done a couple of videos on jock itch, but this one is going to dispel
quite a few myths about curing jock itch, the treatment of jock itch. Jock itch is a condition I’ve treated now
for a long time, for over 20 years. I’ve treated many women with vaginal yeast infections.
I’ve treated many men with jock itch. I’ve treated children with diaper rash. I’ve treated
adults and children with all manifestations of skin yeast infections like ringworm, for
example. I’ve treated toenail fungus, but jock itch is an area that I believe I’m well
qualified to give you some expert advice. I had really bad jock itch in my 20s. I had
some stupid advice from different practitioners and even my medical practitioner, ridiculous
advice. It took me a little bit of time to get rid of the infection, and I can remember
how it drove me absolutely crazy. I lived in quite a warm climate in Australia at the
time, and I made all the wrong diet and lifestyle choices, and these are things I don’t want
you to make. I’ve treated thousands of people with jock itch, so I’m pretty sure that if
you follow some of my hints and tips, you’ll be able to nail this thing without wasting
a lot of your time. Some of the myths I’d like to dispel on curing
jock itch include don’t waste your time using creams. Thinking you can cure this skin condition
around the groin and the rectal area using a skin cream. It’s just not going to happen.
You’re going to get some symptom relief, but you’re not really going to cure this thing.
You really have to get to the deeper-seated causes and triggers of jock itch and understand
that this thing needs to be treated on a deeper basis if you want to cure it, particularly
if you’ve had it for many years like some of my patients have. I mean some guys even get crazy advice from
their doctor like using a vaginal cream for this problem. It’s just crazy. These products
weren’t designed for male jock itch around the penis and the scrotum and the groin area.
You shouldn’t be using them. I mean you can even create damage for yourself using these
medicinal creams, these medical creams made of chemical concoctions that weren’t designed
for us as guys. I know we’re still people. We shouldn’t go into saying it’s going to
kill you, but it’s just not designed for jock itch itself. Symptom relief will occur, but
let women use the vaginal creams, okay, and I’m going to give you a couple of good expert
tips, so let’s get into it. Let’s talk about a guy that I recently saw
on Skype. A lot of my patients are on Skype these days. I’m going to call this guy, Gary;
that’s not his real name. Gary’s a long distance truck driver from Florida, so Gary does long
haul all around the U.S. Gary’s had jock itch for about 15 years, a long time, and he was
really well and truly sick and tired of his condition. Gary spends a lot of time in the
cab of the truck, as you can well imagine. Gary’s choices when it comes to eating food
are not all that good, which would often mean stopping at these roadhouses and eating all
kinds of sugary and salty foods, soda drinks, and lots of coffee, the wrong kind of choices. Even though he was having regular showers,
he wasn’t really that much into personal hygiene like some guys are. So I spent a bit of time
with this guy going over how he really needs to change his undergarments preferably twice
per day when it’s quite bad, a severe condition. He needs to use cotton undergarments. He needs
to use a tea tree oil based soap to keep the area clean. Preferably wear boxers and also
at least once or twice a week spend some time soaking that area in a bit of apple cider
vinegar or diluted tea tree oil mixed in water. That’s going to help him quite a lot. And
in summertime, he’s got to spend a lot of time at the beach swimming. And if he can,
get some sun exposure on the groin because that’s going to help him considerably. I also found out this guy’s got quite a lot
of pubic hair as he mentioned, so I told him to keep that area quite trimmed, so cut it
short. You don’t have to shave the area, but just cut it short and use a hair dryer after
a shower to dry the area. Because remember, Candida likes moisture. It likes darkness.
It likes warmth. These are breeding grounds for yeast. Shaving is even better. If you
can shave all that pubic region and keep it dry, you’ve got a lot less chance of jock
itch. So these are a couple of good tips already, sunlight exposure, salt water exposure, dry
the area, clean the area, cotton undergarments, tea tree oil soap. Buy yourself some tea tree
oil that’s water-soluble. Normally we call water miscible or water soluble; that’s going
to help tremendously as well. And Gary, his lifestyle choices include also
his diet. I want this guy to eat a better kind of food, so sugar and alcohol are going
to feed up the Candida. It’s not really going to help him if he’s going to eat the crap
diet, so we spoke at length about the diet. You can read more about the Candida diet,
the three-stage diet, on I also put Gary on a product called Canxida,
my anti-fungal product, which helped to reduce his intestinal Candida to a very large extent.
So it was a combination of the diet change, these cleanliness lifestyle changes, and taking
the anti-fungal that’s helped basically nail this infection for this guy. Now he’s at the point now where he hardly
even knows he’s got jock itch anymore, which is fantastic. There’s a danger in that as
well that he could go back to his old ways again, but I’m quite confident now that he’s
so happy now that he doesn’t have this constant rubbing and itching down there anymore, which
can be quite depressing for some people. Can you use home remedies for jock itch? Yes,
you can, but remember they’re going to relieve. They’re not going to cure. You’re not going
to cure this thing unless you get serious, making changes on several different fronts.
You can use apple cider vinegar to help the area with symptom relief, but I highly recommend
that you use an anti-fungal like Canxida internally, as well as a diet change. So anti-fungal foods. What are some anti-fungal
foods? Well, you can look at things like clove, the spice clove; a couple of those per day
swallow them. You can look at garlic. You can include coconut oil, a tablespoon per
day. That’s quite anti-fungal to take internally and with your food. You can also rub a bit
of coconut oil around the groin region, and it also makes a good sexual lubricant, coconut
oil, because it is anti-fungal. If you’re in an intimate relationship, make sure that
your partner hasn’t got a yeast infection because you can be passing it from one person
to another. I see this pass the parcel happening quite often in relationships. So if you are
in a relationship, please get your partner checked out or make sure that he or she has
not got a yeast infection because it can be a real problem. So those are a couple of good hints and tips
for you to use. Make sure you do my quiz to see if you’re mild, moderate or severe. You
can go to You can read that site, but you can check out the quiz
on So go to that site, do my quiz, determine what the severity level
is, look at some of my other videos on jock itch. And just remember, using creams externally
will not cure jock itch. It will give symptom relief. I mucked around with this condition for about
18 months before I finally nailed it when I realized I had to get rid of the Candida
inside my intestinal tract. I had to get rid of that. I lived in a moldy house. I was drinking
Coca-Cola. I was making all the wrong diet choices. It wasn’t until I woke up one day
and realized, you know, I read a few books on yeast infections. I started to study naturopathy.
I made the correct lifestyle changes, and I finally got rid of the jock itch. I got
rid of the intestinal yeast. My sinuses cleared up. My skin cleared up, and it was incredible.
I got so depressed at one point with Candida. I’ve had male patients that are suicidal from
this condition. I’ve had guys crying on Skype. I don’t want to live anymore. It’s ruined
their relationship. It’s ruined their life. It’s destroyed everything. So this condition
can destroy your life if you don’t get on top of it. All right? So take some of this advice onboard and try
the holistic and you, too, can cure your jock itch. Thank you for tuning in today.

  1. Thank you for all of your videos. Before coming here I was confused about what I had but after watching your videos I know whats up. I just bought your book and am sort of confused. On pages 159-162 are we supposed to apply them or digest them?

Before my jock itch I had it in my throat and mouth. My throat swelled up so much i could barely breath and i was drooling like crazy. In order to avoid choking on my drool i propped my head up at an angle slept on my side to let the drool flow out of my mouth. I was worried that I would move in my sleep put myself at a bad angle, and die. While this itch is a pain to deal with, I am terrified of it getting out of hand and going back for my throat. Thank you very much for the book I will put it too good use.

TLDR: Thanks for the book, and on pages 159-162 are we supposed to apply them or digest them?

  2. 4. Hi, I am a male in my mid 30s. Saw your video. Just suffering from similar kind of infection. For temporary relief I use OTC creams, a mix of NIZRAL and LOBATE.. And it gives me relief if applied for 2 days. But problem still surfaces after a week or so. I know that it is fungal infection. I have one more problem. While finishing urine, I have observed that few times, some drops still remain and come out in my innerwear after few seconds. I think this is causing me infection in my lower scrotum mostly. Also, I am addicted to alcohol, mostly beer which I take 4-5 times a week. Came to know after seeing your video that alcohol is also a culprit here. So will try to reduce that. Could u pls suggest me something after knowing my problem. Thanks in advance.

  5. The causes? For me is the swimming pool at hot weather, almost to good for fungus live in a hot country like this(Brazil). To many sexual partners, i mean paid sex. these girls have all sorts of bad fungus and bacteria, it is just a matter of time getting infected.

Ok that was my fault; Of course i am going to stop all these behavior.

Now, i still need curing my current infection, i am treating with Lamisil cream, after clotrimazole failed after 4 weeks.

I still have candida Crusher book who offer many tips. Thanks.

I believe it's jock itch…but I have in several locations: base of penis, belly button, butt crack, & even behind my right ear.
Does "jock itch" happen in all those places?

  13. Hello Eric, I suffer from Jock Itch, but it because I sweat too much between my legs and on my buttocks, can you help?

  14. I had this about a month ago on my inner thigh near the groin area. I was using an otc antifungal cream and it seemed to be working. The itching, burning sensation went away and red rash became lighter and lighter. I thought it was gone. A few days ago I woke up and felt very itchy in that same area so I kept scratching and now I'm back where I was when I first got it. Is it common for jock itch to return like that and so soon, perhaps it was never really cured and should I have kept using the cream for a while longer?

I've been treating myself at home with tea tree oil, acv which I soak the region in and eat garlic and coconut oil every day! No help at all. I have no rash or itching just a slight burning. I'm a very healthy eater. Don't smoke or drink alcohol, don't have any sugar cravings. My hands have started to get very dry the skin on my hands are getting tight. Is this yeast? Can I transfer it to my face when washing? I have kids who depend on me. Will I give it to them while bathing and creaming? Please help I don't know what to do!

  20. I dont know if i have jock itch. I went to my doctor and pretty much just prescribed a cream without really looking at it. Ive noticed that my balls get really dry. The itch it unbareable to the point where i harm myself. I have scratched myself casuing me to bleed. When i shower it stings real bad, when water makes contact to my balls it feels like fire likewise with soap. Ive stopped using the cream beacuse it did not cure anything but recently i have been using aquaphor for the dryness hoping it will go away like this. Also i noticed, when its not dry and when i scratch i notice some sort of clear liquid appears leaving the area wet. I quickly dry because i dont know what it is. This is really the worst pain i have ever felt and has only been like 3 months. If you could please give me some advice that would be most helpful.

  21. im 17, and have had these symptoms of jock itch, (burning & irritation) since august of 2015 till now. i hadn't a clue of its medical name, and have yet to see a doctor. I Am, however, in Marching Band. so i would sweat a lot in uniform.
My Question: "My Diet is Poor, and i was wondering which fruits and Veggies i should add into it to relieve symptoms. I Drink milk and water a lot during the summer. ALSO: Would "Fungal Spray," help relieve some symptoms?? THANKS!!!!

  22. i am facing problems with jockitch. is it necessary to take canxid tablets? using tea tree oil and apple cider venigor is enough?

  23. I'm 14 and I'm getting more burns than itching and it started a few days ago and its painful. Please help, I'm too embarrassed to admit it to my parents, and I can't buy things on my own so is there a natural way that I can get rid of it?

  24. Been to my Dr 3 times over several years and gave me creams and not once has it worked. i told her it might be a yeast infection and she laughed and said who's told you that.i still have it and its driving me crazy ,thanks for this.ill give it a try…

  25. Doctor, I was diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum on my upper pubic area and then 2-3 months later my whole nutsack became red and started to shed its skin completely off. Now my upper pubic area, inner thighs, and buttox have all shedded and there is a rash. What should I do? The doctor just gave me topical creams for treatment and said it will go away don't worry.

  26. None of the creams work, they actually make the fungus even worse because creams cause even more moisture on the foot/groin.

  27. i have had this problem for so many years up until recently . i knew what would bring it on in the way of diet so i was careful but it could still happen. Thats was until the hair dryer. Im telling you this is a MUST. Anytime you shower and any chance you get you need to blow dry the area and keep it super dry. Its always best to wash then dry but even if you cant wash, like after a pee, blow dry the area, under the sack and all inside the but crack and do it as often as you can. I swear it doesnt allow the fungus a chance to get going. it loves moist damp gross conditions. Yes diet is a huge part but this Will help HUGE. Do all that Candida Crusher says and add the blow dryer. even a fan if is ok. Mark my words. it feels so good and you feel clean. Clean, dry clean dry.dry dry dry dry dry dry. somehow you need to get air down there everytime you go the bathroom.

  28. I have been applying turmeric at the infected areas since 3 days. I am hoping for the good. Do you think applying turmeric would be enough?.

  29. hi, once you have jock itch does it ever go away permenately? in other words once you have it, you always have it?

  32. I'm a UPS driver in Texas where it's hot and humid, I've been suffering from JI for 2 summers now. The itching is unbearable, I scratch until I literally scratch the skin open to my scrotum. I've been to doctors and dermatologist only to get creams and ointments all of which hasn't worked at all. This has put a damper on my self esteem drastically. I'm going to try your methods and pray for the best. I'm at my wits end with this God forsaken curse. Thanks for the video, here goes nothing…

  33. Petroleum jelly is ideal for me. I use it at least once a day. The oil based jelly acts as a barrier to bacteria. No bacteria, no itch. My clappers feel great and never itch.

  34. I thought I was dying until I read these comments lmao I've had jock itch for almost a year now it won't go away creams only stop the itch but it came back i ended up getting athletes foot too I pissed on my feet in the shower everyday it went away but not the jock itch smh

  35. Hi, just been to my doctor , in uk, with this these jock itch symptoms, and he said this is the first time he has seen anything like it. He is a partner in my local practice in Derbyshire. His name is Doctor Dooooolittle. Seems to be standard practice nowadays.(No advice or treatment offered)

  36. Hey doctor, thank you for the videos. I’m 40 yrs old. I just experienced my first case of jock itch. What a freaking nightmare! I started wearing the tight polyester underwear for workouts and I guess it did not absorb the sweat.

My healing process was as follows, I used a combination of natural and medicated substances.

First, i obtained a prescription for diflucan and followed the dosage instructions. Then I took these following steps:

    1. Take cold showers. Hot showers inflame candida and slows the healing process.
    2. Shower with tea-tree oil body wash.
    3. Stay cool and dry. I used a cool hair dryer after each shower.
    4. Apply tea tree oil extract on candida infected areas and blow dry again.
    5. Apply clotrimazole cream twice a day. Morning and night. Make sure it does not stay moist! Blow dry after application until it’s very dry!
    6. Spray the lotrimin spray (miconazole nitrate) on infected area.
    7. Sleep naked with a fan blowing on you all night.

Wear loose clothes and boxer briefs.

It took me 7 days to completely get rid of it. First few days were a nightmare.

  37. I have this scratchy thingies and now my groin area's light pink how do you make it beige colored just like the rest of my skin??

  38. Listen people and listen well.
I was suffering jock itch for many months with no relief…. tried many creams oils etc.
Do this, begin lifting weights daily and strain your arm muscles… do 5 sets of 20 reps pushups daily with focus on bringing your upper body in shape.

Sit on invisible chair for 20 second and do this in a set of 3 and repeat this set 5 times a day.

Your jock itch will be history.
This itch is nothing but a block to the smooth flow of energy along your body.
    Works for me anyway

  39. I don’t have any ring worms, rash or any marks that would have fungal but I have some major jock itch… long story it started off when me and my gf used baby oil for lubricant. What do you think doc?

  40. This is all GREAT information! I also spray directly on that area Colloidal Silver. I agree with eating the proper DIET to clean out the gut, which leads to a healthy immune system and skin from the inside out. Eating coconut oil is so good for you and your skin issues. Quitting so much Alcohol helped me and switching to a Gluten Free and Leaky Gut healing protocol. If you have ANY questions about any of this information I've listed out, shoot me a message anytime. I do NOT sell any products. I'm just an ordinary guy that's suffered but healed and have been healed from educating myself and no longer relying on Western Doctors and Western Medicine to fix anything.

  41. I think I have a fungal infection on my balls because they get very sweaty because I walk a lot. And I have a red rash that feels like burning in between my right leg and my balls. And I've been having diarrhea for a long time. Maybe I have a stomach infection or a stomach fungus infection

  42. I had one dr tell me just use powder. I’m like I got horrible candida, the skin on my groin is split open and he’s telling me powder. Then like you said the creams they tell you make it more moist and don’t help. In my experience using desitin creates a barrier and doesn’t let the fungus to even start having its fun. It’s nasty and messy but def helped me. But that’s a proactive thing, I think diet and staying dry is most important

  43. If it effects groin, buttocks, and also toes is it still jock itch or something different? Also, what’s the best ways to heal infected toe nails/under toe nails. My symptoms are very mild but persistent.
I’m interested to learn about more anti fungal foods as I’m now vegan and always willing to adapt my plant based diet to make it even healthier.
