Hey guys today we’re making some Spanish Roasted Almonds with Paprika & Rosemary now whether you´re hosting a tapas party or you´re looking to make a really quick and tasty snack these roasted almonds are exactly what you´re looking for they have an incredible flavor they´re healthy and they´re very easy to make now you can go to the store and buy blanched almonds to make this recipe or you can just get some regular almonds and blanch them yourself and save a couple of bucks hey it´s really easy alright let´s get started we´re gonna start by blanching the almonds I´ve got a sauce pan with boiling water I´m gonna remove it from the heat and add 2 cups of raw almonds I´m gonna let the almonds sit in the water for about a minute and a half then drain the water and start peeling the almonds and as you can see how easily the skin comes off once you have all your almonds peeled pat them dry with a dish towel then add the blanched almonds into a large bowl alng with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin Spanish olive oil a generous teaspoon of dried rosemary 1/2 a teaspoon of smoked paprika and 1 teaspoon of sea salt and mix everything together until it´s well combined then add the almonds into a baking tray that´s lined with foil paper and make sure that all the almonds are in a single layer ok now we´re gonna add our almonds into a pre-heated oven bake and broil option 210 C – 410 F between 12 to 14 minutes this will cook the almonds through and you don´t want to leave them in there any longer otherwise they´re gonna burn now if you´re using store bought blanched almonds this will cook a lot sooner I would say between 7 to 8 minutes because they´ve been air-dried after about 13 minutes I´m gonna take the almonds out of the oven and let them rest at room temperature for at least 10 minutes (ideally 30 minutes) ok now I´m gonna give these almonds a try salud! such an amazing crunch to these almonds and the flavors between the rosemary and the paprika it´s a marriage made in heaven guys this is an amazing snack now you know how to easily bring these Spanish flavors into your kitchen if you enjoyed today´s video on making this recipe please hit that like button leave me a comment below and don´t forget to subscribe until the next time….Hasta Luego!!
